Shape the next chapter

Our vision is to create a just society where all Australians can live their best life. We understand what makes a best life is deeply personal. Being able to tuck your kids into bed at night. Being able to play and learn. Being able to take a day for yourself as a carer. Having someone to chat to. Knowing someone will advocate for you. Feeling safe.

Find Your Place

Child & Family

Our diverse services allow you to specialise or gain varied experiences to create real depth in your career.

With options such as intensive family support and intervention, family therapy, early childhood education, out of home care, mental health, post-adoption services, women and family health, youth services and refugee services there’s a career for you at The Benevolent Society.

Disability
Services

Our disability services are about to expand. In addition we offer in-home support and coordination services meaning there’s a place for you at The Benevolent Society.

Ageing
Services

For older Australians wanting to stay in their home, and connected to their communities, our teams offer in home domestic and personal care services, clinical support, maintenance services, leisure and wellbeing services and coordination services.

We also provide day centre and respite service and support for carers. You’ll find a home at The Benevolent Society.

Our
Impact

We’ve been innovating for over 200 years. We have a lot of firsts in NSW under our belt, from the first maternity hospital, legal aid for deserted wives and unmarried mothers, midwifery teaching hospital, use of obstetric ultrasound, and social benefit bond.

We have advocated for causes such as ending child labour, and we continue to advocate for fixing pension poverty and reducing the number of children entering out-of-home care. Now we’re shaping our next chapter.
