We use our practice wisdom to mobilise social movements that advocate for anyone in need and create social change.About the role  As a Women’s Health Counsellor, you will support women to overcome the effects of trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, grief and loss and other women’s health issues. Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will undertake an initial assessment; provide high quality counselling, psychotherapy, case management, and therapeutic group work. You will provide outstanding service to our clients in a positive, respectful and culturally sensitive way. Duties  Provide counselling services to women who are experiencing the impacts of complex trauma including Domestic Family Violence including historical child sexual assault and mental health concerns Engage clients using appropriate strengths based assessments and risk minimisation processes, including safety planning.Cofacilitate psychoeducation and well being groups for women.Represent the organisation at Interagency meetings and or events.Our BenefitsWe support people to live their best life.
