As our Hub Coordinator you will ensure the smooth running of our Community Hub at The Entrance Community Centre. You will ensure that our hub is a welcoming and safe space for people to visit, identify unaddressed needs of the community to establish how we can effectively meet these needs and work with other community partners to create opportunities to engage the community.DutiesEnsure a smooth opening and closing of the hub using locks and alarms, while monitoring alarms and safety processes in place, and addressing concerns as they ariseAssist with administration tasks including daily data collection, monitoring IT equipment and raising concerns where necessary, set dates, and keep meeting minutes, and more to reach targeted deadlinesManage Food Rescue Program, a partnership with Oz HarvestLift, manoeuvre,  carry items including unloading of deliveries with the use of manual trolley.Stock, rotate and store incoming food suppliesPerform general cleaning dutiesSet up tables needed for food displayInitiate, organise and deliver community events including, but not limited to programs and activities in line with TEI reforms, to reach the wider communityCollaborate with and support our partners in their services where appropriate to deliver key outcomes that compliment allOur BenefitsWe support people to live their best life.
