Working together, our team supports these families to build parenting skills and strengthen their relationship with their child.About the roleIn this Case Manager (Child & Family Practitioner) role, you will have a specialist focus area of supporting families experiencing the impacts of dual diagnosis of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and Mental Health.You will undertake an initial assessment of family strengths and needs, and develop case plans that build on the family’s resilience to enable them to overcome risks by using evidence informed practices, partnering with other services and supporting the family to shape their next chapter. Our Benefits   We support people to live their best life. This means you’ll have the following:As a qualified Social Worker, or Human Services professional, you will have:At least 5 years of Case Management ExperienceDemonstrated Experience in:Working with children or families in the context of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD)Providing counselling and/or working with children, young people, and vulnerable families in crisis situationsA clear understanding of child protection issues and client vulnerabilities and the impact of trauma and the effect on child behaviour & developmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills, relationship building skills, negotiation, liaison, ad advocacy skillsCapacity to engage with people from all walks of life including the local Aboriginal community and people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgroundsCurrent driver’s licenseInterested?
