This role will see you work in a team which is driven and friendly and committed to the role.  About the role Passionate about improving outcome for children/young people who have experienced complex trauma, you understand the importance of building a team around the child/young person. Working holistically, you will ensure the home and support network contributes to their development, improves their longer term outlook while maintaining connections with birth families and culture. You can work in a fast pace environment and adapt easily to change while always keeping the best interests and well-being of the children at the centre of what you do.Duties Engage clients including children and young people, and their birth families and foster and/or kinship carers, using appropriate assessment and risk minimisation processes Undertake comprehensive assessments to develop, implement, monitor and review client plans and outcomes that identify strengths as well as areas of risk, ensuring children and young people are actively engaged in the process Coordinate with other service providers including government departments and agencies, schools, health services, GP’s and allied health providers to ensure services are delivered Support a small team of Support Workers to provide a better service to our clients and understand their complex needs through coaching, information sharing and informal learning  Our Benefits We support people to live their best life.
